Interpretation Equipment and Rental
EgyTranscript rents simultaneous interpretation equipment and interpreters all over the world. As your communication bridge whether it be a small meeting or a large international conferences we gladly provide professional interpreters, interpretation equipment and booths besides whisper-interpretation systems or tour-guide equipment. EgyTranscript will find the best solution for every occasion without jeopardizing the quality of simultaneous interpretation, which largely depends on two important factors: the interpreters and the equipment. We would be able to recommend the equipment according to the event, talk with one of our professional interpreters for recommendations!!! Usually we recommend full-size booths for interpreters and headsets for the audience in international conferences or big events where time is of the essence. However, in smaller meetings or break-out sessions we would recommend a less expensive solution - portable (tour guide) interpretation system consisting of a small transmitter and wireless receivers for the listeners.

Providing Equipment
We not only have some of the most talented, professional simultaneous interpreters & translators but we also provide equipment. This is the best way to guarantee a total success!!! the booth's sound insulation, dimensions, air quality, as well as the sound quality of the headphones, microphones and other equipment are integral components of the process. We will take care of every aspect starting by setting-up all equipment, providing interpreters and recording of proceedings if required. Flexibility is a priority to us as conferences and meetings come in all shapes and sizes.

Speaker
When the speaker speaks into the microphone, which connects to the interpretation booth, the sound is transmitted to the interpreters’ headphones
Interpreters
The simultaneous interpreters sit in the booths wearing headphones and listening to the conference via our sound system. Speaking into a microphone, their interpretation is distributed around to delegates who can listen to their preferred language.
Audience
Sitting in the floor listen to the interpreter’s voice through their headphones which receiving signal and therefore voice from the booth.

What types of Interpretation Equipment are available?
- What are RF systems? RF stands for "radio frequency" and refers to equipment that transmits over radio waves, using the same frequency spectrum as ordinary radios, except that interpretation equipment transmits over pre-assigned wavelengths.
- What are IR systems? IR stands for infrared and, in the context of interpretation, refers to equipment that conveys sound over infrared emissions, they are the most appropriate simultaneous interpretation equipment for a conference. It provides coverage over a large area with a wires and clutter at minimum. This type of simultaneous interpretation equipment allows the delegates to be mobile by using a cordless infra-red receiver and headsets. The system behaves like light, reflecting off solid walls and surfaces. The transmission is distributed from infrared radiators installed round a room on stands or hanging from ceiling bars. The number and positioning of the radiators depends upon the number of channels to be transmitted, the size of the area to be covered and the texture and color of the walls. Some clients say: “Oh, we were told that IR is better than RF.” Is that true? No. Whether infrared or radio frequency is better for you, depends on how, why, and where you'll be using the equipment. While infrared can be better in some environments, in others it simply will not work at all, or perform very poorly.
- Tour Guide System The Tour Guide systems uses radio frequency to enable interpreters to talk to groups of people on the move, while visiting places, exhibits or factories, or during small meetings. Here, the interpreter has a microphone and the participants are supplied with built-in tuner headphones. With whispering interpretation equipment there are no interpretation booths used. Therefore whispering interpretation is a good alternative to traditional simultaneous interpretation for smaller meetings, when there is no place for interpretation booths or when smaller budgets need to be accommodated. This system however does not accommodate participant interventions.
