About cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. They can keep a sign-in session active, remember a request in progress, or support services embedded in a page. This policy explains the cookies and related features used by the EGY Transcript website. For information about personal information, read our Privacy Policy.
Quotation cookies
- egy_qc — quotation context: remembers the page, service and quotation button associated with a quotation request. It expires after two hours. It is used to carry request context between pages.
- egy_qd — optional saved quotation draft: identifies a saved quotation draft when you choose the form’s draft-saving option. The cookie lasts up to 30 days. It contains a draft identifier; the draft details are stored on the server. Deleting this cookie prevents the browser from finding that saved draft automatically, but does not itself delete the server record.
Sign-in and website preferences
WordPress uses authentication cookies for people who sign in to the website, a temporary cookie to check whether the browser accepts cookies, and cookies for administration display preferences. These are associated with signing in or using the administration area; ordinary visitors do not need an account to browse our service pages. Their duration depends on the session and whether Remember Me is selected.
Where a comment form offers to remember your details, choosing that option can store your name, email address and website in browser cookies for future comments. These WordPress comment cookies normally last about one year. You can remove them in your browser settings.
External services and embedded content
The Contact page includes an embedded Google Map. Loading or interacting with the map connects your browser to Google, which may use its own cookies and process information under its own policies. Browser privacy settings and your Google account settings can affect this behaviour. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s cookie information.
The website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. This makes a request to Google’s servers; a network request is not itself a cookie. External services manage their own storage and retention.
Managing cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies using your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking cookies may prevent sign-in, saved quotation drafts or some embedded services from working. Deleting cookies does not automatically erase information already submitted through a form.
This website currently has no dedicated cookie preference panel. You can manage cookies through your browser and the settings offered by external services. The quotation draft-saving choice is available in the quotation form.
Changes and questions
This policy may be updated when the website’s features or cookie use change. For questions about cookies or personal information, email [email protected] or use our Contact page.
YouTube video gallery
The Portfolio page displays video thumbnails from YouTube. Selecting a video loads a YouTube player using the youtube-nocookie.com domain. This connects your browser to YouTube; playback and other interactions are governed by Google and YouTube policies. You can also open videos directly on YouTube.
